Three things: a steady internet connection, a device that can install an IPTV player, and your SastaTV login. Most smart TVs, streaming sticks, phones, tablets and computers qualify. If your TV can't find a suitable player in its app store, a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box plugged into a spare HDMI port is an easy fix.

They are the three details your player needs to reach SastaTV. The server URL is the web address of the service, and the username and password prove the line is yours. Type them exactly as they appear in your welcome email, because one wrong character stops the login.

EPG stands for electronic programme guide — the grid that shows what's playing now and later on each channel, much like a cable TV guide. Catch-up lets you go back and play programmes that already aired, on channels where it's offered.
